Showtime A-Holes

Back in July, I joined an already top notch team at Method Studios that was starting to ramp up on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. There's a lot of Marvel films that come out these days so when the first GoTG film came out back in 2014, it was a breath of fresh air. This sequel does not look like it will disappoint one bit and it's been an absolute blast to work on. I'm excited to continue on through the rest of the show.

The first trailer was revealed online yesterday by the film's Director James Gunn and you can see it here below. The bulk of our work on the trailer consisted of the incredibly funny scene with Groot and Rocket along with some other various shots.

Star Trek Beyond

Fresh off the presses!

We're about to head into delivery for the latest iteration in the Star Trek universe.

Super excited to see how Director Justin Lin handles the reins on this one!

Pano's of Iceland

Working in the vfx industry can be more than demanding of your time, so when I had the opportunity to take some time off in-between shows, I jumped on it. I recently returned from doing some traveling on the other side of the world and I thought I'd share some quick panoramas I took along the first leg. The first major stop on the trip back to Europe was Iceland.

Iceland was one of the most incredible places I've ever been. The landscape is rough and unapologetic. It feels like you're literally on another planet; a variety planets actually. From rock fields, to glaciers, waterfalls to geo-thermal mud pools, ice caves to black-sand beaches; Iceland is truly amazing.  The amount of reference, inspiration, and beauty I witnessed was something I'll never forget.

Here's a little taste:

10 Cloverfield Lane

2016 is starting off with a bang. I can finally talk about the next show we've been working on which just had the first teaser and it's title revealed online last week: 10 Cloverfield Lane. This project is near and dear to my heart because I have gotten to reunite with friend and collaborator Dan Trachtenberg for his first feature film outing. We worked together a few years back on his short film: Portal No Escape, and it's a real honor to be a part of this project as well as continuing to work with Dan and Bad Robot. Check out the teaser below and be on the look out for this film in March!

Star Wars The Force Awakens

After a childhood full of Kenner action figures and imaginary sword fights with flashlights, I got to put my small imprint on the Star Wars universe. Working these last 6 months on Star Wars The Force Awakens has been an insane honor and a privilege. I’m so proud to have been among such a talented team of incredible artists and storytellers.

Thank you JJ, Katie, Ben, Mike, Luke, Stefano and everyone at Bad Robot and Kelvin Optical for giving me a chance to play in this sandbox with you.
